He received an accounting degree from McNeese state university in 1981. After
college sales became his obsession and he became a very successful car
salesman. He also started investing heavily in real estate.
He began compiling his sales strategies into books like sell

Number one, he quit drugs and alcohol. After being thrown
out by his mother grant says it was difficult going through his teenage years
without the direction of a father since his died, when he was only 10.
In his late teens, he turned to drugs and alcohol, which
made it difficult for him to complete college and hold a job. When he was 25,
he went to visit his mother, but she threw him out of the house and told him
not to come back until he was sober. He says, this was the wake-up call for

grant says that he's had many, but not in the traditional sense of. He says to

Warren Buffett, mark Cuban and Napoleon hill to be his mentors among many
others.

first house purchase, he vowed never to invest in single family, real estate
ever again at the age of 29 grant bought a single family home in Houston. Yes,
initially, he was happy with his investment until the family.
He was renting to moved out. He thought it was a great
hassle trying to find tenants. And didn't like that it distracted him from his
primary business. He decided to sell the house and he swore he would never
purchase a single family, residential real estate property as an investment
ever again.
Number 14, some of
his former employees have filed complaints about being fired after refusing to
go to Scientology. In 2016, they were at least three complaints filed with the
federal equal employment opportunity commission. On behalf of former employees
